Yesterday I bought two packets of pasta elbows from Coles at $2.30 each, only to find out later on that Safeway was stocking them for $1.90 each. Anyway, as horrible as I am at cooking, I have to say that I found the secret ingredient that makes my cooking a little more tolerable:
Pepper.
Liberal amounts of it.
(I'd love to say salt, but it'll still be tasteless even if I upend whole bottle.)

I accidentally poured (yes, POURED!) a whole bunch of it in as I was mixing the elbows around with the eggs. So for my case, black does not mean burnt-and-blackened carcinogenic, cancerous crap, it just means pepper.
Instead of ONLY being tasteless, it's just hot now.
